Carlo
Carandente first became interested in the jingle business in the 2000 when he
was growing up in the Naples City area. Being an avid radio listener, he began
to wonder who made those "little songs" that announced the name of
the radio station and sang its praises. As he learned more about broadcasting,
Carlo discovered that the "jingles" he had been hearing and collecting
from across the country were made by a small number of very specialized firms.
It seemed to him that working for a jingle recording studio would be an excellent
way to combine his interest and experience in music, audio production, and radio.Than, about 1 year later (Jan 2001) he decided to create his own project recording studio. Blue Planet Studio officially began in January of 2001.
The studio began modestly to say the least. A little garage was remade to use it as studio , with an appropriate design, in order to use it for little prodictions and radio stations post-production ; but Carlo is looking forward to built a new bigger recording studio in a next future. Even so, word of BLUE PLANET's quality and creativity spread quickly. By March 2001 the studio boasted accounts like Radio Quinta Rete, Radio Punto Nuovo, Radio Power Station and others small ones ; plus some recordings about many little musician groups and singers.
During the 2001, Carlo expanded his services by doing commercials, production libraries, and music for television. But the primary emphasis has always been station IDs.
Today Carlo creates IDs and customs music for top clients all around Italy and he opens his mind to work together each one around the world. He has a dedicated freelance staff, many of whom have been workin' in this studio since almost the beginning.
Carlo : we create new, interesting and effective ways to market stations and products with music and production of the highest quality.
