John M. Peters began creating special sound effects over 25 years ago in addition to building and operating several recording studios. His first published sound effects work was Science Fiction Sound Effects on an LP record in 1978. Since then he has produced libraries on CDs which include the first professional user Science Fiction Sound Effects library on CDs in the 1990s, Jurassic Dinosaurs, and his latest production Thrillers, Fantasies, and Hauntings. Sounds from his libraries have been used extensively in motion pictures, television, radio, computer games, planetariums, amusement parks, and even shopping mall talking robots. His sounds were used in Mars Attacks, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Stargate SG 1, Warner Bros/Steven Speilberg cartoons including Superman, Taz Mania, etc. John's specialty continues to be designing special sound effects in addition to music recording and mixing.
