This library is delivered as 16/44.1 broadcast .wav files and contains rich embedded metadata for pinpoint sound effects searches. All sound effects are descriptively named and intuitively categorized in folders with descriptive names as well so you can easily browse.

Metadata is compatible with Pro Tools, AVID, Final Cut Pro, NetMix, Soundminer, Base head and more. You can also use  NetMix Lite, the free sound effects search software that comes with the BBC Nature Archives Sound Effects Library.
